This Car Make-Over Will Blow Your Mind.

Vehicle wraps started life as a form of advertising on buses and cars but this relatively simple process has morphed into a must-have accessory for car geeks.

Fancee Car is Sydney's leading vehicle wrap workshop where Leanne Beck and her team specialise in high-end car wraps - think pink Bentley's and matt black Mercedes. However,  wraps for everyday family with everyday cars is growing in popularity because it gives an old car a makeover at a serioulsy affordable price.

I roadtested wrapping using our four year old Jeep and took it from blah grey to Jay Z black.

Like magic. Here's how it's done.

When it comes to car wraps, the whole process takes far less time than a re-paint job. And the good news is that it’s a faction of the cost.

Fancee Car Wrapsyou can expect to leave your car for 4-5 days and then the team do the following:

  • Wash and polish the car check for any damages

  • Strip the car using a licenced in-house mechanic who removes the handles and bumpers in order to wrap

  • Start by wrapping the large panels and then move onto the smaller sections of the car

  • We recommend if you don’t like the chrome around the car to spray as wrapping doesn’t last long as long on chrome. (I did this with my car and it looks awesome)

  • The wrap doesn’t damage the paintwork if you would like to remove it the cost of removing is $800 – $1000

  • Product used on Paula car is a gloss black Oracal with self-healing protein which means that scratches repair themselves in the sun

  • The product comes with a 18 month warranty from fading

When you re-paint a car, the results are permanent. There is no going back.

However car wraps are completely removable and will not damage the paint underneath.

Infact they keep it protected until removed. Wrapping a car will allow you to change the car’s appearance while keeping the original paint intact, resulting in ahigher resale value.
