Christmas Dessert Grazing Table.

This Christmas I shall be cheating my way to dessert glory.

I love to bake (particularly during the festive season) but I totally understand that not everyone does.

Or has the time too.

This year - I am all those things. Life has gotten in the way and my baking rituals have to be swapped for convenience and creativity.

So, here is my one hundred per cent, bake-free dessert grazing table using a lush selection of festive treat options from Woolworths.

The key to a great grazing table is options: decadence for adults, fun for kids and gluten free and vegan options for those with an intolerance.

Make sure you have ample paper containers so you can give every guest a generous take home pack because we want zero food waste and to give everyone that ‘next day dessert leftover’ happiness.

The Golden Trifle.

Trifles are wonderful at Christmas because they look so fabulous on the table. Almost like flowers. Here, I’ve chosen the super luxe and delicious Woolworths Gold Dulce De Leche Trifle, $20, sprinkled a cup of Woolworths Butterscotch Popcorn, $4 over the top and finished with Woolworths Gold Christmas Fantasy Ballerina Dress Ornament, $3

Keep It Tonal

The easiest way to set a beautiful lunch table is to choose a colour theme and then mix textures - fabric, glass, ceramic etc - within that theme. Choose a hero colour and then find one to two shades to complement it - here I have used pink, rose gold and gold - then have fun being quirky and mis-matching. Play With Height.

Make the grazing table work harder by using different heights to create a feeling of over abundance - and of course fit more into the space. Here, I’ve used vases with flowers to frame the table and draw the eye up and then added cake stands, bread boards and jars to keep it looking interesting and glamourous.

Little Things For Little People.

I like to add classic party favourites like chocolate chip cookies, mince pies and candy canes to my Christmas table just for the kids. This kind of dessert service allow you to have decadent adult dishes alongside crowd pleasers for the little ones. Here I’ve stacked Woolworths Santa Cookies With Dreamy Chocolate Chips in a bundle with some simple red ribbon.

What you need to know about these cakes is that they start life frozen. This means you can buy ahead and simply pop in the fridge to slowly defrost the night before you serve it.

I’ve made each of these stunning cakes look extra Christmas-y by adding a bauble to the top.

A great way to keep produce fresh and to add some glamour to your dessert table is by using glass boxes or jars. Here, I filled two Kmart Gold Look Jewellery Box, $10 (each) with Woolworths Christmas Shortbread Fingers, $3.50 and Woolworths Butterscotch Popcorn, $4

Bite size is a great way to add texture but also encourage grazing. Here I’ve used Woolworths Petite Meringues Nests, $5 added a dollop of fresh whipped cream and fresh raspberries. And filled small glass jars with Woolworths Christmas Pretzels, $5, Woolworths Caramel Fudge, $5, (pictured); and Woolworths Belgian Truffles, $5

When you have to take a dessert to go, look no further than this new piece of heaven. The Woolworths Gold Ruby Chocolate Cheesecake, $20 is on another level. I’ve used it on my grazing table but then I also took one to my Mum’s as a gift with a bunch of fresh hydrangeas from the garden.

All Pink Everything

Who said Christmas had to be red and green? The thing I love about this colour scheme is that it works so well with summer flowers - hydrangeas, roses - and fruit - raspberries, strawberries, stone fruit - and have you seen anything prettier than these tutu perfect Woolworths Gold Raspberry Meringues , $6

Santa Claus Is Pastel This Year.

Absolutely love the pastel Woolworths Santa’s Marshmallows, $3 - they worked with my colour scheme like a dream. I found this cute Kmart Glass Santa Boot, $8 and it would work well filled with Woolworths Santa Chocolate Coins, $2 or Woolworths Candy Cane, $1
