The Joye x The Acqua Brand

I’m so proud to launch my first design collaboration: The Joye x The Acqua Brand.

I discovered this local luxe swim label whilst on a quest to find beautiful, quality rash guards. Two perfect navy blue purchases later and I was the happiest (and protected) woman on the beach. The Acqua Brand is known for using incredible fabrics and flattering cuts. These are swim separates that won’t fall apart, lose shape and will protect your skin to an SPF 50. It’s a fashion solution for woman (like us) who live outdoors and want to look after their skin. Many of you bought the rash guards I wore and it was from your enthusiasm for the product that this collaboration was born. And a dream of mine realised. So thank you and I hope you love it as much as I do.

This limited edition swim set is a blend of form and function. I want you to look awesome but be able to go for a proper swim. It’s in my favourite colour combination of all time – elephant grey and pink. The cut of the rash guard is to flatter. Scoop-neck, skinny arms and dark grey to slim through the body. The tie-side bikini bottom is double stitched with gold hardware – particularly love the little detail on the back trim – and generously cut on the bottom for a chic amount of coverage. And you need to trust me when I say that all women look good in a tie-side bikini bottom. You do. The key is a contrast trim and a single adjustable string that adjusts to fit your figure. No cutting in – wear it just snug and low on the hip. The rash guard and bikini brief are both made from a blend of Italian techno-fabric and Lycra Xtra Life which means it will hold its shape and colour.
